The Oxygen Project (TOP) is an environmental movement that uses media, community and partnerships to build a climate-resilient tomorrow. 

Twice a year, we host a community training course for young, aspiring activists known as "TOP Co-Op: Activate Your Activism." In this 6-week curriculum, participants have access to a robust curriculum of workshops, panels, and interactive discussions. Our goal is to inspire individuals to seize their autonomy as changemakers and inspire them to execute their own climate initiatives now and in the future. 

We also create targeted impact and educational campaigns. Our flagship campaign is our #DefendTheDeep campaign to stop deep sea mining. We are proud partners of the Deep Sea Conservation Coalition and have partnered with Only One and Sustainable Ocean Alliance on an open letter calling for a moratorium on deep-sea mining. In March, we handed over our open letter with 250,000 signatures to officials at the Our Oceans conference in Panama. To date, corporations like Google, Samsung, Volkswagen, Philips, BMW, and Microsoft also have come out against this destructive practice - representing a massive victory for the environmental community. 

Our large online community of 6+ million people is an important piece of the puzzle as well. Here, we post daily educational content in order to bolster our campaigns and inspire collective action and change.
